Sadia Janjua is an accomplished leader in the construction and digital transformation sectors, currently serving as the Chief of Digital Transformation Program & Project Controls for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. With over 20 years of experience, Sadia specializes in Program and Construction Management, with expertise in Planning & Scheduling, Cost Management, Risk Management, Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) and BIM, Forensic Analysis, Change Management, and Digital Transformation.

Sadia is instrumental in driving the strategic direction for the Port Authority, developing growth strategies for project controls, VDC, and digital transformation, while advancing sustainability in projects. As a leader of the agency's Innovation and Strategy teams, she is pioneering efforts to redefine the construction experience by leveraging connected workspaces, process automation, data analytics, and artificial intelligence. Her initiatives integrate international best practices in innovation, digital transformation, customer centricity, and leadership, aiming to revolutionize project management's impact on society and the communities served.

Throughout her career, Sadia has contributed her expertise across multiple facets of the construction industry, serving as an owner, contractor, and construction manager. She has held key roles at leading firms such as Bechtel, McCarthy Building Companies, STV, New York MTA, and AECOM. In addition to her professional responsibilities, Sadia is deeply committed to education and serves as an adjunct professor at Columbia University and Pratt Institute, mentoring the next generation of industry professionals.

Sadia holds a Master’s degree in Construction Administration from Columbia University, a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Certificate in Digital Transformation for Senior Executives from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. A recognized industry leader, she is actively involved in associations such as CMAA, AACE International, PMI, and the Guild of Project Controls. Sadia’s thought leadership has been acknowledged with numerous accolades, including the Top Women in Construction Award and ENR’s Top 20 Under 40 National Award.
