8th Dubai International Project Management Forum kicks off with an extensive international participation

Over 55 international and local key figures, a 25% increase from the previous edition of the Forum

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of the Executive Council, the 8th Dubai International Project Management Forum (DIPMF) kicks off Wednesday 25th January 2023, under the Theme of ‘Fostering Wellbeing.’ The event is organised by Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and co-organized with the Project Management Institute (PMI), Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (DEWA), and DP World.

On the side-line of the Forum yesterday and today (Monday and Tuesday), specialised master classes were held in the areas of Agile Transformation, Project Portfolio Management, Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Management.

The 8th session of the Forum will discuss several topics, including innovation in project management, sustainability in project management, managing mega projects in the region, gender balance and empowerment of women, the relationship between developing societies and fostering wellbeing, project economy, managing major sporting events and other important topics related to project management.
The 8th edition of the DIPMF will feature elite speakers from both local and international backgrounds, representing various fields. The line-up includes over 55 international and local key figures, a 25% increase from the previous edition of the Forum. Notable speakers include Dr Peter H. Diamandis, Founder and Executive Chairman of XPRIZE, a renowned leader in the design and management of incentive contests. Dr Diamandis, who has been named one of Fortune Magazine's World's 50 Greatest Leaders, will be the keynote speaker at the opening ceremony of the Forum.
